The Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis, on Val de Vie Estate in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley, is set to open its doors to guests next month.
“The progress that has taken place during a 24-month period of planning and development has been phenomenal. And we’re thrilled that guests will soon be able to experience all that The Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis has to offer,” said Ignus le Roux, Group Marketing Manager for the Mantis Collection.
The first phase includes 40 single or double suites arranged in 10 freestanding double-storey buildings. The second phase of the hotel will also consist of 40 suites.
Amenities include the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, a club house and restaurant, a hotel club room, a gym with Technogym equipment, a swimming pool and tennis courts.
The official launch of the Pearl Valley Hotel is set to take place in September.
Of the 40 units, 37 have been sold to individual investors. All suites are bookable by the trade. “The hotel will function and operate as any normal hotel. The only difference is that the shareholders comprise the various unit owners,” said le Roux.
