The travel trade partners who participated in the familiarisation trip from Delhi were Yatra Online Pvt Ltd, Corporate Flyers Pvt. Ltd., FCM Travel Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., goibibo.com and Uniglobe ATB. The Seminyak Beach Resort and Alila Seminyak, Bali hosted the stay.
The group visited Discovery Kartika Plaza, Belmond Jimbaran Puri, Como Uma Ubud, Melia Bali Nusa Dua, Double Six for site inspection, where they enjoyed the local flavour at different restaurants. The travel agents also visited Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Park, Uluwatu Temple and Safari Marine. The highlight of the trip was the cruise safari.
Furthermore, VITO India, along with Thai Airways and Tria Uma also organised a FAM trip for another group of travel trade partners from Mumbai to get a firsthand experience of Bali and its different aspects, with Melia Hotels International and Ritz-Carlton hosting the stay at the property. The Agents from Mumbai were from Riya Travels, Thomas Cook, SOTC, Kesari Tours. The agents visited Conrad Bali, Aston Kuta Hotel, Courtyard Nusa Dua and Royal Pitamaha Ubud for site inspection and to experience the offerings of the hotels. They enjoyed the water activities and the dinner cruise.
VITO India hopes that these trips would help the travel agents to create customised itineraries with different experiences which would further result in promoting Bali as all in one destination and its different aspects like luxury, MICE, Weddings, adventure and honeymoon, said Shelly Chandhok, Country Manager, VITO India.
