A promotion that gives visitors $300 to spend on their vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands will be available to travelers who book with agents.
The $300 comes in the form of a voucher that can be spent on tours and activities on St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
The USVI Centennial Commemoration promotion (marking 100 years since the U.S. purchased the islands from Denmark) has been available to travelers booking on VisitUSVI.com.
“There has been strong interest in the promotion, so we will be expanding the opportunity to book the offer with our travel agent and tour operator partners. More details will be available in the weeks ahead,” said the USVI Department of Tourism in a statement.
The promotion is available for travel throughout 2017 to those who book by Oct. 1 and spend a minimum of three nights at participating hotels (11 each on St. Croix and St. Thomas and five on St. John).
