Trophy Room at Fairmont Dubai has opened its door today, just in time for the FIFA World Cup.
The location offers a menu that Dubai has never seen before – everything from golden chicken nuggets to beverages topped with bacon-stuffed olives, Parmesan cheese and accompanied by home-made beef jerky as a stir stick.
This 75-seater sports bar features a total of 11 screens and is consequently the first and only venue of its kind in town to offer guests an opportunity to listen to the sports match commentary in various languages with their own headphones by simply downloading a dedicated app on a smartphone.
Guests will be well prepared for the World Cup, which kicks off in Russia on Thursday as the hosts take on Saudi Arabia.
The food menu offers classic British and European pub food with international favourites, but if you fancy feasting on golden chicken nuggets and golden fries, accompanied by a golden aperitif, you’d probably want to opt for Trophy Room’s “Go for Gold” package instead.
The will also be a daily happy hour on selected beverages, which will consequently be the “longest happy hour on Sheikh Zayed Road”, while daily lunchtime specials for food and drinks will now be the norm.
Trophy room will also offer daily theme nights, a hotelier night, quiz night and a five per cent off your total bill for every goal scored during selected Premier League games.
The location is the latest addition to what is already an award-winning hotel, with the Fairmont Dubai earlier this year adding the Middle East’s Leading Hotel Service Award to the World’s Leading Hotel Service Award it claimed at the World Travel Awards Grand Final in 2017.
