Tel Aviv won the ‘Best International City’ at the 8th edition of the readers’ choice – India’s Best Awards 2019 hosted by Travel+Leisure India & South Asia. The city emerged as the top choice in the reader polls conducted through an online voting process over the past few months, during which a record number of votes were registered.
The awards bestowed annually has lakhs of travellers voting for the best experience across 60 categories that range from top hotels, resorts, spas, destinations, airlines and travel service providers adding to the bucket list for 2020. Being a people’s choice awards, Israel competed against several destinations to acquire the winning spot as the crowd favourite in the ‘Best International City’ category.
