Later this month, the Seven Seas Voyager will become the second ship in Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ fleet to get upgrades intended to give it the stylishness of the new Seven Seas Explorer.
The drydock will overhaul many elements of design on the ship as part of Regent’s $125 million fleet-refurbishment program.
Some of the notable renovations include:
- a more contemporary design for the Penthouse, Concierge and Deluxe suites
- plush cobalt-blue drapes accenting oversized windows in the 442-seat Compass Rose restaurant
- the new French alternative dining venue, Chartreuse, which debuted on Seven Seas Explorer
- a more open buffet in the La Veranda restaurant, along with a new cook-to-order grill station
- installation of an infrared grill at the Pool Grill, which will facilitate the grilling of steaks, chops, lamb and salmon on the open deck
- new decor in the Voyager Lounge, with large champagne-colored chandeliers cascading over crimson loveseats along a wall of oversized windows.
The Seven Seas Navigator completed upgrades in a drydock earlier this year. The Seven Seas Mariner is scheduled to receive a similar makeover in April 2017.
