Saudia Arabian flag-carrier Saudia has said passengers will now be allowed to carry laptops on flights to the US.
The news comes after the country’s airports received security clearance from the department of homeland security in the United States.
In March, the US banned laptops and other large electronic devices to and from eight mostly Muslim nations.
King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh have both now completed inspections, however.
King Khalid airport becomes the last of ten Middle Eastern airports to be exempted from the ban, effectively ending the measures.
Saudia is the sole carrier operating direct flights between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Saudia operates to three points in the United States: Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC.
