Ryanair has announced it will base two new aircraft at Luton for its winter 2018 schedule.
Now with a total of six planes at the airport, the carrier will and six new routes – to Alicante, Athens, Barcelona, Bologna, Cork and Malaga.
At the same time, more flights will be added to the existing Vilnius route.
Ryanair’s winter 2018 London Luton schedule will now deliver a total of 21 routes which will help deliver 2.2 customers per annum.
Chief executive of Luton Airport, Nick Barton, said: “Ryanair has been a big part of our success since it first started flying from LLA in 1986, and the decision to expand its presence here is a testament to our transformation into a world class international airport.
