Rwanda will host the 2020 Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) and Awards at the Kigali Convention Centre from July 13-15 under the theme ‘Shaping a better future for intra-Africa travel together’.
The Africa Tourism Leadership Forum and Awards is a collaborative Pan-African dialogue platform that measures attainable initiatives for Africa’s tourism growth and development.
The event offers opportunities to network, meet key stakeholders of the travel and tourism industry, learn from each other and share ideas and strategies.
“It has become a blueprint for actionable collaboration among the African tourism stakeholders over the last few years,” says accounting firm group, BDO Director, Christelle Grohmann.
Discussions to be expected at the forum are the Africa Travel and Tourism CEOs/Executives Dialogue, a Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions/Events (MICE) Masterclass, and the Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Competition.
“Since the inception, ATLF and Awards have been actively supporting tourism development, especially in areas such as marketing, capacity building in MICE as well as Destination Africa’s brand management,” says United Nations World Tourism Organisation Director for Africa, Elcia Grandcourt.
