Plaza Premium Lounge is set to expand its offering with a new pay-in lounge at Helsinki Airport which will open in February.
Plaza Premium Lounge was selected by airport operator, Finavia, through a public tendering process and will be located in the non-Schengen terminal in line with the expansion of the new central plaza.
“At Helsinki Airport we work hard together with our partners to ensure a smooth, high-quality travel experience for our customers.
“Plaza Premium Lounge is a wonderful new addition to our ever-growing range of services, giving our 20 million annual passengers a possibility to relax before, after or between flights at the non-Schengen terminal,” said Elena Stenholm, vice president of commercial services at Helsinki Airport.
The new Plaza Premium Lounge Helsinki will offer excellent lounge services and facilities for travellers departing, transiting and arriving at Helsinki Airport.
It will feature comfortable seating, a live kitchen, a bar, shower facilities, recharging stations, complimentary Wi-Fi, computer workstations, and a kids’ zone for family travellers to relax and unwind before their travel journey.
“Our decision to expand to Helsinki Airport was a natural one.
“Finland is a major transit hub offering the shortest route between Europe and Asia.
“We look forward to extending our airport hospitality expertise in our third market in Europe.
“This partnership will be another major milestone in achieving our global ambitions,” said Jonathan Song, business development director of Plaza Premium Group.
