Flybe Group has said Philip de Klerk, currently chief financial officer with the company, has resigned.
He will take up the role of chief financial office at performance materials manufacturer Low & Bonar after nearly three years with the airline.
De Klerk will remain in position with Flybe until October.
A process to appoint his successor has commenced.
De Klerk joined Flybe from SABMiller in 2014, where he has previously been global head of financial planning and analysis and finance director of the business capabilities programme.
Prior to this, he was chief financial officer at Ineos Olefins & Polymers Europe.
A short statement from the airline read: “The Flybe board wishes Philip well for the future and also thanks him for his major contribution over the last three years.”
Flybe will issue its 2016/17 results on June 8th.
