Africa4Us has partnered with the Brandberg White Lady Lodge in Damaraland, Namibia, to launch guided self-drive tours.
The experience offers guests the opportunity to ride a Polaris Utility Terrain Vehicle across the terrain.
James Nel, Sales and Marketing Executive for Africa4us says explains that the experience allows guests to experience the thrill of driving one of these custom fitted Polaris all-terrain-vehicles, together with the spectacular scenery in the area.
The tours are led by professional local guides and backup includes satellite phone communications and vehicle tracking.
Guests can choose from a variety of tours.
A four hour early morning drive takes guest through the Ugab River and on to rocky terrain leading through local villages towards. The drive also goes to the famous Brandberg White Lady Bushmen painting.
A three hour nature drive takes guests through swamps, offering adventurous 4×4 driving and the possibility of encountering wildlife including springbok, zebra, steenbok, oryx, ostrich, cheetah and elephant.
A two hour sunset drive and a one and a half hour night drive are also on offer. All tours include snacks and drinks.
There are eight vehicles, which can each accommodate a driver and up to two passengers. Nel says there are plans to introduce an overnight experience next year, with camping and lodge options. At present, overnight excursions can be arranged on request.
