The CEO of New Zealand’s Tourism Agency ‘Jucy’, Tim Alpe, who visited countries like Australia and the United States in order to promote New Zealand and ‘Jucy’, informed that New Zealand is a place where people can feel safe and peaceful making it a bucket list destination for them. He believes that the country needs more investment in the tourism sector, in order to sustain the boom.
According to Alpe, in the major sectors for improvement are more accommodation, public facilities, clean public toilets and smooth roads need to be installed, which are really expensive and the government needs to pay for them.
The travel data shows that in mere two years, over 3.4 million travellers visited the country of New Zealand, which eventually helped the annual revenue for the tourism sector to grow from $28 billion to $34.7 billion. It can be easily said that the tourism sector of the country is experiencing a busy time and it is most certain that the country needs more investment to hold on to the tourism growth.
