Dukes Dubai, the quintessentially British branded, five-star hotel and residences on Palm Jumeirah, has announced the latest addition to its executive team with the appointment of Hiren Mazgaonkar as director of sales and marketing.
A graduate of the University of Mumbai, Indian national Mazgaonkar, has over 15 years’ corporate hospitality experience in senior sales positions having established numerous successful sales strategies and implemented business expansion plans for a series of international hospitality brands in the UAE, Bahrain and wider GCC.
His career includes senior sales positions with Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, where he formed an integral part of the pre-opening team; Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Bahrain; and latterly he was director of sales for Banana Island Resort by Anantara.
“Hiren’s in-depth knowledge of the hospitality scene, not just here in Dubai, but across the wider GCC, will add immense value to Dukes Dubai in what is an extremely competitive marketplace.
