Venny’s Camp in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park is set to open in March, Machaba Safaris has revealed.
Machaba CEO, Chris Kruger, told Tourism Update that work on the camp was ongoing. “We have teams from Botswana and Zimbabwe undertaking the construction.”
The 24-bed lodge has ten luxury tents – two four-bed family tents and eight luxury tents – all with en-suite bathrooms. He said Venny’s Camp had a similar style and footprint to Machaba and Gomoti Camps in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
Kruger said Hwange National Park offered guests magnificent wildlife viewings, something that had influenced their decision to spread Machaba Safaris’ foot print from Botswana to Zimbabwe.
