Aleph Hospitality has announced the signing of management agreements for two new hotels in Kenya: the Best Western Plus in the Westlands district of Nairobi, and a three-star hotel in the popular coastal resort of Mombasa.
Opening in May next year, Best Western Plus Nairobi Westlands will have 100 newly-constructed, international-standard guest rooms, a dedicated meetings floor, and a gym, and will cater to both business and leisure travellers. Located north of the city centre, the contemporary hotel will also offer two food and beverage outlets, including a rooftop bar, in keeping with the area’s existing popularity as an upmarket entertainment hub.
Mombasa Hotel will be a new-built hotel featuring 106 guest rooms along with extensive events and leisure facilities, including a pool, rooftop bar and ballroom. Ideally located in the Nyali district, the hotel will offer business travellers convenient access to the central business district, as well as government and diplomatic institutions. Leisure travelers will enjoy its proximity to the city’s famous beaches, Nyali Golf Course and Mamba Village. Scheduled to open in 2020, Aleph Hospitality has already commenced discussions to secure a suitable brand for the property under franchise agreement.
