The Organisers of the Africa MICE Forums have launched MICE Connect Africa, a day of virtual business-to-business speed-dating, following the postponement of the actual event.
The Calaber edition of the Africa MICE Forum was postponed due to uncertainties around COVID-19 travel and event regulations.
MICE Connect Africa has been launched to drive support in the MICE industry and is meant to be an opportunity for attendees to make meaningful connections, refresh relationships and restore hopes.
In the speed-dating-style meetings, MICE professionals working in and selling to Africa can expect to discover interesting MICE destinations and unique offerings, find new businesses and raise their brand profile. The event will take place on October 21.
“COVID-19 might have hit us hard, but it’s our resilience that will transcend [everything] in the long run. With the MCA 2020, we’re re-sparking the flame of hope and opening our doors to new opportunities,” said Event Convener, Obinna Nwachuya.
