The objective of the FAM was to make the participants familiar with the Melia properties and enable them to promote the same to their customers.
The FAM trip was conducted in November 2016 with participants such as BCD Travel India Pvt Ltd, Cox and Kings, Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd, Corporate Events (India) Pvt Ltd, FCM Travel Solutions India Pvt Ltd, Corporate Flyers and Trail Blazer Tours. The group got the opportunity to explore and stay at properties such as Melia Madrid Princesa Hotel, Melia Marbella Banus Hotel, Gran Melia Don Pepe and Melia Avenida De America.
Tonia Sehan, Director of Sales India commented, “The FAM trip was a good opportunity for the MICE agents to know about the MICE possibilities and how Melia Hotels International is ready to handle any Incentive or Wedding Group from India. We plan to host more familiarisation trips in the future as this is a great way to promote the Hotels and receive more visitors from the region.”
