From December, LATAM Airlines will launch a new flight connecting Tel Aviv, Israel, to Santiago, Chile, via São Paulo in Brazil.
Tickets are now available for LATAM Airlines’ latest international destination.
The route, which will be operated three times a week by a Boeing 787 aircraft, offering 217 seats in economy and 30 seats in premium business, will be the first route connecting Israel and Latin America.
Jerome Cadier, chief executive of LATAM Airlines Brazil, said: “This is a unique service for passengers across much of Latin America.
“No other airline connects Latin America with Israel.
“Travellers from Israel, for example, will now be able to travel with ease to Brazil, Argentina and Chile with this new flight.”
LATAM Airlines continues to evaluate and develop new routes in order to meet with passenger needs.
In 2017, LATAM Airlines inaugurated 13 new international routes.
For 2018, the airline has announced a further 14 international routes, including flights to Rome, which began in March as well as new operations to Las Vegas (June), Boston (July) and Tel Aviv (December).
Yariv Levin, minister of tourism for Israel, added: “The launch of the direct route from Israel to Brazil and Chile is an important achievement.
“We believe that the new route will strengthen the cooperation between Israel and Latin America and increase the flow of tourists travelling between the two regions.”
