Singapore welcomed this year’s edition of ‘The 2016 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX’ which started from September 16 to September 18, 2016. Complementing the race is the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS), which began from September 9 to September 18. The season also featured an exciting line-up of lifestyle events, activities and promotions in various precincts in Singapore for fans to make the best of the racing season.
Indian fans had geared up for the event with great enthusiasm, which was witnessed at the contests organised by Singapore Tourism Board (STB). STB India partnered with Singapore GP Pte Ltd and two sporting companies – Fans on Stands and Sports Konnect to organise Go-Kart contests in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai.
The winners from each city won a pair of race packages, and flew to Singapore to experience the thrills of the F1 Singapore Grand Prix first hand.

September is a great month to visit as the air is filled with excitement and energy from the F1 season.
