The deal was signed in Delhi by Dinh Viet Phuong, Vice President, Vietjet, and Pankaj Srivastava, Commercial Director, Air India.
“We hope that Air India’s aviation experience and capabilities will help Vietjet in our better access to India – a potential market with a young and dynamic population,” said Dinh Viet Phuong. “The cooperation is also expected to contribute positively to a higher development of partnership in the economy, trade and tourism between Vietnam and India.”
The launch date and other details of the new direct flights have not been revealed.
