The other week I entered a pub quiz and my team members said to me, “Being a travel blogger we expect you to get the answers to all the geography questions!” No pressure or anything…
I often think I’m fairly knowledgeable about travel and destinations but more so about the ones I’ve been to than the ones I haven’t. So far I’ve visited roughly 45 countries and there are 196 in the world! I might know my capital cities and airports but when it comes to travel trivia it’s surprising just how obscure the questions can be. In that particular pub quiz I sucked.
So how far does your grasp of all things travel really stretch? Dealchecker have put together 15 rather tricky questions, designed to test every aspect of your wanderlust wisdom.
Like do you know where the world’s largest swimming pool is, or which country is home to 60% of the world’s lakes? Can you identify famous cities by their skylines, street plans or hotel views? Take the quiz and find out!
I scored 9/15 or 60%, which earns me a Business Class ticket. “When the travel section of your local pub quiz crops up, the spotlight is instantly on you. Never a stranger to local delicacies or UNESCO heritage sites, you’ve wandered the globe and back again. But no matter how well you claim to know your way around a baggage carousel, there’s always more travel trivia to perfect!”
Can you beat me? Currently 25 people who’ve taken the test are in the same percentile as me.
