The Government of Gujarat played host to the TTF shows in Ahmedabad and Surat while participating with big pavilions in the TTF West Series.
Kamleshbhai Patel, Chairman, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd, inaugurated TTF Ahmedabad. “TTF is one of the leading tourism shows of India and TTF Ahmedabad in particular is the biggest among those that are held across nine cities in the country. The platform of TTF brings together both international and domestic players of the industry,” he said.
The exhibitors got an opportunity to interact with Ganpatsinh Vasava, Tourism Minister, Government of Gujarat when he walked the show at Ahmedabad on its second day. “I am glad that TTF, India’s largest fair network is being organised in Gujarat. TTF is one of the most successful tourism promotion platforms bringing together all stakeholders under one roof to realise the true potential of domestic tourism,” remarked Vasava. The Minister also inaugurated TTF Surat in the following week.
Gujarat recently launched a 360-degree immersive live action virtual reality video, as a result of a joint venture between Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd and IL&FS. Besides, the state is vigorously promoting film tourism by offering a range of facilities to film makers including financial assistance and single window clearance, in turn encouraging entrepreneurship in film making.
Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd was also bestowed with the Best Decoration Award-Big Pavilion at both TTF Ahmedabad and Surat.
Impressed with the look and feel of the shows, N Srivastava, Commissioner Tourism and MD, TCGL, commented, “TTF is a very impressive show. I had visited the ones in Kolkata and Pune. Among all, Ahmedabad was the largest show. TTF is indeed doing a great job.”
