Just getting around Los Angeles has become a sharp thorn in the side for visitors and locals alike the past several decades. An abundance of cars — and traffic appearing at a moment’s notice — have tortured this great city, causing even the most patient folks to develop road rage. That is where Metro Los Angeles’ master plan comes in and it has Angelenos believing in the city’s future of transit again. Over the past couple years, Metro has built the much needed Expo Line to help make the east and westside communities more accessible to each other even during the height of rush hour. Riders can take the expo line from the heart of downtown LA to Westside’s booming gem known as Culver City – now home to the creative community plaza of Platform LA. East to the West in 35 minutes and vice versa.
Here is a preview of all the excitement as seen through the lucky Gogobot members who were given special VIP seats to experience this historic line before the grand opening.
