Rajnish Sabharwal, COO, TUTC, said, “India as a destination has lots to offer to today’s traveller who has evolved over time and is always looking for newer experiences. Travellers are opting for offbeat destinations within India with untouched scenic beauty and local flavour. Keeping this need in mind, TUTC has designed luxurious camping offers for the travellers who want to explore exceptional locations in India without having to compromise on any of the luxuries of life.”
TUTC’s camps in Thiksey and Diskit in Ladakh offer services such as Wi-Fi, 24/7 security and paramedic on site, 24/7 electricity, boutique and library, and personal butler service. Each tent has a bathroom attached with access to running hot and cold water. Each of these tents is triple layered and guests can climate control their tent temperatures to their individual preference. TUTC’s in-house chef uses fresh ingredients to prepare various cuisines – regional, Indian and international. One can also add various elements to their itinerary such as exploring the Pangong Lake, rafting down the River Indus, a cycling tour of the Warila Valley, enjoy the ancient sport of polo, etc. TUTC’s camps can be customised for special occasions.
Both the luxury camps are operational from until October 10, 2016, which is considered to be the most favourable time to enjoy Ladakh. Travellers can select from itineraries of one night, three nights, four nights and and nights packages. The packages start from INR 27,000 per person (on double sharing) for one night/two days package in Diskit, and INR 84,000 per person (on double sharing) for three night/four days in Thiksey.
