Federal Airlines (Fedair) will expand its inter-lodge flight service on January 1, with the addition of a new connection to the Pafuri region in Limpopo.
An extra base will be added from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport in Limpopo.
“This will allow safari travellers to seamlessly connect via a short air transfer to luxury game lodges in the South African Lowveld,” says Nik Lloyd-Roberts, Commercial Manager of Fedair.
A major highlight will be the new connection to the Pafuri region, available on a seat rate, as well as more connections between Cape Town, provided by scheduled air carriers.
Guests can expect a short airside transfer on Fedair’s Cessna Grand Caravan, a 12-seat turbo-prop aircraft, to game lodges in the area.
“This will result in dramatically reducing the lengthy road transfers and give safari goers an aerial perspective of South Africa’s wonderful landscape,” says Lloyd-Roberts.
