Global hospitality company Dusit International has signed a management to bring the chic and modern dusitD2 brand to Indonesia for the first time.
Slated for completion in 2018 in Kuta, a surfer’s paradise and bustling entertainment district on the famed island of Bali, two new properties will open carrying the dusitD2 name: dusitD2 Sunset Road and dusitD2 Kuta Beach, Bali.
The properties will be built in partnership with Indonesian property developer PT. Merpati Abadi Sejahtera and PT. Ayana Realty.
Both hotels will cater to the needs of today’s tech-savvy travellers who are seeking modern convenience in environments that are vibrant, stylish and fun.
Both will also feature comfortable furnishings and elegant décor, all artfully arranged to inspire guests.
dusitD2 Sunset Road is being constructed in the heart of a vibrant shopping, dining and leisure district in the centre of Kuta near the upmarket and fashionable Seminyak town.
Providing the perfect springboard to a host of adventures, ranging from surfing and scuba diving to trekking and horse riding, the hotel is just 15 minutes by car from the sandy Kuta Beach, Double Six Beach, the beachfront Beachwalk shopping mall, Mal Bali Galeria shopping mall, and the lively Legian beachfront area.
Upon completion, the property will feature 380 guest rooms, three international restaurants, a rooftop bar, a fitness studio, spa and swimming pool.
A separate building of approximately 100 rooms will operate as a condotel, making it an enticing prospect for property investors.
dusitD2 Kuta Beach, Bali, meanwhile, is situated in the middle of the island’s most famous beach, whose year-round surf, long wide stretch of sand, and pulsating nightlife attracts tourists from all corners of the globe.
Comprising 278 guestrooms distributed across two buildings, the hotel will feature a stunning design reflecting the vibrancy of this key location.
Among its facilities are one international restaurant, a rooftop bar, a fitness studio, spa and swimming pool.
Both properties are within 30 minutes’ drive of Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Dusit International chief operating officer, Lim Boon Kwee, said: “Bali is world-renowned for its sandy beaches, lush rice terraces, rolling hills, colourful culture, and vibrant arts scene, and Kuta is the perfect base from which to explore it all.”
