Clico Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Conferencing – a luxury venue in Rosebank, Johannesburg – is currently undergoing a major make-over.
Completed are a full refurbishment of the function venue and one of the hotel rooms, along with an extension of the restaurant area. The function venue, which caters for urban weddings, small conferences, group meetings and bespoke events, has received more stacking doors to increase the natural light filtering in, and enhance the view of the garden-facing terrace.
Clico Founder and Owner, Jeanette Schwegman, has also begun a complete refresh of the accommodation, starting with Room 8. The room has received an entire make-over, including flooring, walls, the bedroom area and the bathroom. The room is ideal for honeymooners, but also large enough for a family, and has been named the flagship suite.
Schwegman concludes that Clico, which opened in 2010, welcomes both business and leisure travellers, whether for a meal, stayover of conference, and has steadily remained one of the top-five Trip Advisor-rated restaurants in Johannesburg, since the restaurant’s launch in 2015.
