CityBlue Hotels has opened new hotels in Livingstone and Kampala.
Karanja Nzisa, CityBlue Hotels Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, says the group has taken over The Courtyard Hotel Victoria Falls in Livingstone, which will be rebranded before the end of the year.
It will be known as CityBlue Courtyard Hotel & Suites, Livingstone. It will have 52 bedrooms, with facilities including a boardroom that can seat up to 30 delegates, a conference room that can accommodate up to 400 delegates, a swimming pool, a gym, a bar and a restaurant.
The hotel is on the Corner of Musio-oa-Tunya and Sichango Road, about 2km from Batoka Airport, 6km from Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, and 7km from Victoria Falls.
In Kampala, Nzisa says CityBlue hotels has opened Ssanga CityBlue Hotel & Suites, Kampala, with 33 apartments. The hotel has a gym, sauna and swimming pool, and is located at 34C Kyaddondo Road, Nakasero Hill, about 40km from Entebbe International Airport.
CityBlue Hotels is one of Africa’s fastest growing local hotel chains, with a significant presence in southern and East Africa. It has plans to open another hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, soon.
