Bill Harrop’s “Original” Balloon Safaris is now offering Fiesta flights during the South African Hot Air Balloon Championships 2019, held at Skeerpoort in the Northwest province. The Fiesta flights will take place from June 24 to June 28 during the championships.
Participants will take to the sky with up to nine other balloons to witness the competition. While Fiesta flight passengers do not take part in the championships, they will watch competing teams from the air.
The Fiesta flight will take off just after sunrise, weather permitting, and will last about an hour over the Magalies River Valley. Included in the event are tea, coffee, hot chocolate and muffins, served before the flight at the Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant followed by champagne and orange juice on landing and breakfast at the Clubhouse.
