Auberge Resorts Collection plans to open the luxury brand’s first “urban retreat” in Austin, Texas, this spring.
Located in Austin’s historic Hancock neighborhood, the Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Resorts Collection will be anchored by a fully restored Italianate mansion built in 1928. The mansion will serve as the property’s “centerpiece,” housing the Living Room with cocktail bar; the Solarium, which will serve light bites and drinks; informal dining venues Dining Room and Breakfast Room; and five hotel suites.
Adjacent to the mansion will be a new three-story addition called the Inn, housing 42 guestrooms and seven terrace suites.
The Commodore Perry Estate will also be home to a new private membership club, which Auberge says will offer an environment for “locals to meet, dine, collaborate and nourish while cultivating community connection.” Club membership will offer members and their guests, as well as those staying at the hotel, exclusive access to the resort, cultural programming, experiences and events.
Other amenities will include signature restaurant Lutie’s, an organic urban farm and outdoor swimming pool. The estate’s chapel and English gardens will be available for use for private events or as a wedding venue.
