AMResorts is expanding its presence in Europe, announcing its Greek debut with the management takeover of three resorts on the islands of Crete, Corfu and Zante.
As part of a new deal with European hotel owner Hotel Investment Partners, AMResorts will begin operating and managing two five-star Dreams Resorts & Spas-flagged properties on Crete and Corfu as well as a four-star Alua Hotels & Resorts-branded property on Zante, by summer 2022.
All three resorts are set to undergo renovations prior to their reflagging.
The Dreams Crete, located on Malame Beach, will feature 357 rooms, while the Dreams Corcyra on Corfu will comprise 327 rooms. Both Dreams resorts will offer the family-friendly brand’s signature “Unlimited Luxury” all-inclusive concept, featuring unlimited access to dining, premium beverages, concierge services and more.
The 161-room Alua Soul Plagos Beach will be an adults-only, all-inclusive concept that covers beverages as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
AMResorts first expanded into Europe in late 2018 with entry into Spain and the acquisition of a majority stake in Spanish chain Alua Hotels & Resorts.
Earlier this year, the company said it planned to make further inroads, unveiling a goal to grow its European footprint to 30 open hotels within the next two years.
AMResorts’ Crete, Corfu and Zante resorts will bring the company’s European presence to a total of 22 properties across Spain and Greece.
