A new resort that raises the bar on intimate, all-inclusive luxury has opened in the Maldives.
Kudadoo Maldives Private Island by Hurawalhi has just 15 overwater residences. Everything is included, from fine dining to scuba diving, deep sea fishing, spa treatments and sessions with a personal trainer or meditation guru.
“Kudadoo is designed to be every luxury traveler’s personal dream,” said GM Bradley Calder. “Our mantra is ‘anything, anytime, anywhere.’ … We believe that a truly luxury experience is not needing to consider any additional expense.”
The resort is a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male and a five-minute speedboat ride from sister resort Hurawalhi Private Island.
Kudadoo’s 13 one-bedroom and two two-bedroom residences have some of the largest private sundecks in the Maldives with 474-square-foot pools. The residences have dedicated butlers.
The reef surrounding Kudadoo is recognized as one of the most abundant and undiscovered in the Maldives, making it easy for guests to snorkel from their terraces and join the dolphins that frequently swim by.
The restaurant offers both open-air and air-conditioned dining, with an array of superfood and vegan options.
A separate bar and games room overlooks a freshwater infinity pool and the beach. There is also an abundance of beach for guests to find their own private place on land.
Additionally, there is a boardroom and meeting facilities available for corporate retreats, as well as accommodations for guests’ personal and household staff.
In addition to activities offered at Kudadoo, guests have access to a broader range of restaurants and land activities like tennis at the Hurawalhi, all free of charge with the exception of the 5.8 Undersea restaurant.
Prices start at $2,800 per night or $80,000 per night for a buyout of the whole island.
