African Luxury Hideaways, whose portfolio consists of properties with an eco-philosophy, protecting wilderness areas and wildlife, has been renamed ‘Hideaways’.
Since the first lodge, Elephant’s Eye, Hwange, opened three years ago, the company has grown and its offerings have changed. According to Garth Jenman, Managing Director, and Katja Quasdorf, Product and Marketing Director, as guests continue to look for unique and experiential trade ideas, the word ‘luxury’ is often no longer part of their quest for the holiday of a lifetime. Guest feedback revealed that ‘luxury’ was not needed to describe the Hideaways’ experience.
The name change coincides with the company’s new website, which will launch in October. The revamped website will represent the new brand and booking functionality. Hideaways will continue to use the baobab tree as the company logo.
