While hotels and resorts throughout the Caribbean and Mexico have been aggressive in their ramp up of on-site testing in response to changing CDC travel requirements, U.S. hoteliers have been much slower to add the amenity.
In recent months, however, on-property testing has started to gain traction stateside, with SBE emerging as one of the highest-profile hospitality players to pioneer the trend. Other U.S. properties that have also recently debuted on-site testing programs include the W South Beach and the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in Florida and the Nobu Hotel Palo Alto in California, among others.
