MSC Cruises USA enhanced its True Partnerships program for travel advisors by protecting advisor commission levels and improving its groups program.
MSC said it would protect 2019 achieved commission level, so that the commission levels earned at the start of 2020 will be protected moving into 2021.
MSC also said that it expanded its Get on Board program, which enables advisors to book and sail on MSC and be reimbursed for the cruise after booking 10 FIT cruises. That reimbursement has been enhanced to include bookings in a balcony stateroom as well as unlimited drinks and WiFi. MSC also said it made it easier to claim reimbursement by expanding qualified bookings to include all three-, four- and seven-day cruises from Miami and Port Canaveral.
For advisors booking groups, MSC aligned deposit requirements across all destinations and added WiFi to the list of group amenity options.
In a statement, Michelle Lardizabal, senior vice president and commercial sales officer of MSC Cruises USA, said: “We know our partners have worked incredibly hard over the last year and are motivated to continue pushing forward in 2021. We want them to know that we’re here to offer our support in every way we can. And, as we move further into this new year, we will continue to provide them new opportunities and make doing business with us as seamless as possible.”
