Comair has today (November 9) started taking new bookings for kulula.com ahead of its planned take off on December 1.

The re-introduction of kulula flights on the domestic network is the first phase of Comair’s ramp-up to full operations over the next few months. British Airways’ domestic and regional flights will reopen soon, as will kulula flights from Lanseria.
Concerning existing tickets for travel from December 1 onwards, the company said: “Comair will be operating a limited schedule over December. The schedule will include all kulula.com domestic routes, with the exception of Durban-Cape Town and the Lanseria routes.
“Customers who are booked to depart from or arrive at Lanseria International Airport will be re-accommodated on a flight out of or into OR Tambo International Airport, at a time nearest to their original departure time.”
Orsmond said Comair would initially operate a fleet of 15 aircraft across both airline brands, gradually increasing as the remainder of the fleet returned to service over the next few months.
Customers who booked tickets before Comair was placed in business rescue on May 5 will be able to utilise the value of their tickets through the Comair Travel Bank for future travel on Comair from mid-January onwards.
