Four of Namibia’s border posts have opened for travel.
This was announced by Namibia’s Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Frans Kapofi, last week.
In a statement, Kapofi said the Katima Mulilo, Ariamsvlei and Noordoewer border posts, as well as the Walvis Bay harbour, would open with immediate effect, subject to applicable health regulations.
The announcement comes after ongoing confusion about whether travellers could enter the country by road.
