South African tour operator, Hotspots2c, is giving frontline workers the chance to win a wine tour in the Cape Winelands to thank them for their dedication throughout the pandemic.
Hotspots2c’s #FrontlineFriday campaign is offering 21 vouchers for a ‘Sip and Savour the Winelands’ tour worth R1 250 (€62) and redeemable in 2021. Winners will spend a full day on a wine tour through the Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl wine valleys.
“It is our hope that we’ll get to honour South African frontline heroes and at the same time, inspire them to fall more in love with South Africa! When it’s safe to do so, these winners will get to tour the Cape Winelands with foreign visitors and see our country with fresh eyes, as a tourist would,” said Hotspots2c Owner, Johan du Toit.
Health care workers, police services, delivery and food services, agriculture personnel, teachers and many more can be nominated every week on Hotspots2c’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Winners will be announced every Friday from August 7 for 20 weeks, with the last four winners being announced in December 2020.
The December winners will all be people in the tourism and hospitality industry. While they may not be frontline workers in the traditional sense of the term, these heroes will be the ones on the frontline welcoming in foreign visitors to celebrate our country once more when borders open up.
