Riviera River Cruises is increasing its number of sailings for solo travelers this year.
The company will offer a total of eight cruises exclusively for solo travelers, with two additional departures on the Danube and Douro rivers.
The solo sailings, which have no single-supplement upcharge, now include the Nov. 1 departure of the MS William Wadsworth on the Danube and the Nov. 10 sailing in Portugal of the MS Douro Splendour.
“We’re proud to be the only river cruise line acknowledging the growing solo traveler market by offering departures dedicated to them,” said Jana Tvedt, Riviera River Cruises’ executive vice president.
