WTM Africa will launch a full African Tourism Investment Summit, on the back of the success of the 45-minute slot at last year’s WTM Africa event.
The Summit will take place in Cape town on April 11 and 12, giving investors the opportunity to scope projects and opportunities across the African continent, and meet with key stakeholders with whom to partner.
The aims of the Summit are to:
match potential investors with tourism-related investment opportunities across Africa;
create awareness of tourism-related investment opportunities and incentives;
share trends in investment, opportunities, challenges and policy issues that are impacting growth of tourism economies in African countries; and
facilitate public-private partnerships to develop tourism across Africa.
Participants will be able to listen to speakers from across the globe, sharing learnings and expertise, unpacking numerous investment opportunities that Africa has to offer across multiple sectors of Africa’s tourism industry.
