The Kingsbury Hotel Colombo & Amaya Resorts and Spas conducted its four-city roadshow in India. After Mumbai, the workshop was held in Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Chandigarh. Stakeholders, travel agents and policymakers attended the product presentation, which was curated specifically for the Indian market.
Representatives of The Kingsbury Hotel Colombo & Amaya Resorts and Spas were present and gave a detailed product presentation on the group’s properties across Sri Lanka and Maldives. The delegation also interacted with the agents and shared insights on how to promote The Kingsbury Hotel & Amaya Resorts and Spas amongst Indian leisure travellers, business travellers, honeymooners and MICE groups. The product presentation was followed by cocktails and dinner.
According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), India continued to be Sri Lanka’s top source of tourists with 384,628 arrivals (up 7.8%) in 2017. On the other hand, Indian tourist visits had reached 83,019 by end of December 2017, according to the Maldivian Tourism Ministry.
