Tanganyika Wilderness Camps (TWC) has announced that it is building a new tented lodge in central Serengeti, Tanzania.
Lahia Tented Lodge, as it will be known, will be located behind the Musabi Plains, in western-central Serengeti. The lodge is being built with natural materials, and will consist of 25 rooms including six family rooms (with two interconnecting), all with en-suite bathrooms. Other facilities at the lodge include a restaurant, lounge and swimming pool.
The location offers 360-degree panoramic views, said to be some of the best views in Serengeti National Park.
Bookings are already open, and the lodge is expected to officially open on July 1, 2019.
TWC offers a unique collection of permanent tented safari camps, mobile camping and lodges in Tanzania, with 11 tented camps and lodges in northern Tanzania in its portfolio.
