European charter airline, TUI Fly, is adding two flights to Mombasa, Kenya. The news was announced by Kenya’s Minister of Tourism, Najib Balala at the opening of the 79th annual Skål Congress in Mombasa last week.
TUI Fly Belgium confirmed to Tourism Update that the airline would launch a weekly service from Brussels to Mombasa, operating on Fridays, starting October 26. The airline will also start a service from Amsterdam to Mombasa on Tuesdays, from November 6.
On both flights, the route is combined with Zanzibar following the Mombasa stop.
According to Kenya’s The Standard, Balala said: “We are upbeat at this gesture by TUI Fly, which has been one of our major supporters and wish to assure them of our support.”
