Southern Spoor Marketing has expanded its portfolio with four boutique-style properties in the Western Cape.
The latest additions to the portfolio include Southern Spoor’s new flagship property in Cape Town, the Pepperclub Hotel & Spa, as well as Baruch Guest House in Stellenbosch, Hermanus Guest House, and The Lofts Boutique Hotel in the Thesen Harbour Town in Knysna.
Anita Foxcroft, Director of Southern Spoor Marketing, says the new portfolio members complement the existing portfolio and fit the company ethos. “Southern Spoor Marketing is known for showcasing some of the finest hospitality establishments in the country and these new properties fit the bill. They each have something unique that sets them apart from other establishments, and are successfully run by like-minded hospitality professionals.
“Additionally, travel trends indicate that there is an increasing preference for boutique-style properties. Guests are seeking an experience, not just a room, regardless of whether they are travelling for leisure or business. Our portfolio, and especially these four new properties, befits this trend, and offers guests a unique travel experience,” says Foxcroft.
Pepperclub Hotel & Spa lies in the heart of Cape Town within walking distance of some of the City’s popular attractions, offering various accommodation options, secure parking, conference and event facilities for up to 240 delegates, a luxury spa and gym, rooftop pool, private cinema and a beach club at Camps Bay.
Baruch Guest House offers guests two furnished residences. Situated 750 metres from each other, and only a few minutes’ drive from Stellenbosch, the two combined residences feature 12 guestrooms, individually decorated according to themes such as The Great Gatsby and Out of Africa.
Opulently furnished in a French Provencal style with a hint of Victorian, and with mountain backdrops and expansive views over the ocean, Hermanus Guest House is ideally located.
Located at the water’s edge in Knysna, The Lofts Boutique Hotel is set within the remodelled, whitewashed timber frame of the old Knysna boatbuilding shed. Luxury accommodation options include exclusive lagoon suites overlooking the water, north-facing luxury loft rooms with balconies and sun loungers, as well as self-catering double-storey apartments.
