The Victoria Falls Safari Club in Zimbabwe has closed for major renovations.
Nommy Vuma, Group Marketing Manager, told Tourism Update in an interview that the central building would be upgraded, which included doubling the size of the deck, expanding the lounge space and creating a restaurant with a dedicated kitchen. A new swimming will be built between the last block of Club rooms and the Victoria Falls Safari Suites.
The 20-room renovation will cost US$600 000 and is expected to be completed next month. The club is expected to open again in March.
The Victoria Falls Safari Club is owned by Africa Albida Tourism Group, which operates Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls Safari Suites, and Lokuthula Lodges.
Africa Albida Tourism also owns The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show, a legendary ‘must-do’ dining experience in Victoria Falls.
