Airbnb accommodations will soon appear alongside hotel listings in Concur’s desktop platform, but only for corporate clients who want Airbnb inventory.
Concur customers will see Airbnb listings on a map denoted in red alongside the hotel listings in blue. Users will be taken to an Airbnb site to book. The booking, however, will populate a Concur itinerary.
Concur said that Airbnb listings will have detailed property information, such as rating and the number of reviewers, number of bedrooms, included amenities and a property description provided by the host. Reviews and full-sized property photos will be viewable via a pop-up screen.
It is the first time one of Airbnb’s corporate travel partners will add Airbnb inventory to its accommodations search.
Airbnb began working with Concur in 2014 on programs designed to make it easier for corporate travelers to expense Airbnb stays.
Airbnb says business bookings tripled last year, and estimates that 15% of the nights booked through Airbnb are for business.
