Drifters has again included Mozambique in its 24 Day Southern Circle tour. The tour has been following a diverted route from Zambia through Zimbabwe and back to South Africa due to unrest in the Chimoio area.
Mozambique will officially be added on the next tour, which takes place on July 2.
“Based on the feedback from all our partners in Mozambique the area has been stable for the last four months and we decided to open up this again to follow the original itinerary,” says Christiaan Steyn, Marketing Manager at Drifters.
The 24 Day Southern Circle tour will again follow the original itinerary, starting in Johannesburg and travelling through six countries – Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and then back to SA.
The tour will include visits to Lake Malawi and Mount Mulanje in Malawi, Vilanculos, Inhambane, and Maputo, in Mozambique.
