Expedia Inc. will acquire a majority stake in SilverRail Technologies, a company that has partnered with Expedia.
SilverRail is a rail retailing and distribution platform. It distributes tickets for over 35 providers and carriers, and processes over 25 million bookings annually.
The transaction is expected to close mid-year.
