Duba Plains Camp, in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, opened on March 1.
The camp comprises five tents, in addition to a two-bedroom tented suite. Each unit offers guests their own private plunge pools, decks, indoor and outdoor showers, outside sala bed, Canon professional camera equipment and binoculars. Yoga mats and light dumb-bells are available in each tent.
The central mess tent has private and communal dining areas, interactive kitchen, wine cellar, library and media room. The extended deck hosts a fire pit, day beds and dining areas overlooking the swamp.
“We’re very excited about the new Duba Plains camp, and standing here looking out over the plains it feels that at last we have come full circle and given back to this place and developed the camp that it deserves,” said Dereck Joubert, CEO Great Plains Conservation.
